My husband and I have been married since 2008. We have two children, and they are involved in many activities, including sports and theater.

Effingham County has been my home for almost my entire life. I graduated from Teutopolis High School, and later, Eastern Illinois University. At EIU, I received my BA in English in 2005 and MA in English in 2011. I was an English teacher at Effingham High school for over 10 years, before I transitioned into the Agency Recruiting Department of State Farm's corporate offices. Now, I am a second-generation State Farm Agent in Effingham. I have also earned my ChFC designation and passed Series registration and licensing to help more people with financial services.
